Let us get to know our center a bit closer

Best mom i the world. :) Dad, finished police High school,University of criminal justice. Worked for SFRJ, Yugoslavian antiterorist special forces. After that worked as an chief of the security of the Serbian prime minister Vojislav Kostunica. Currently retired with the rank of Colonel.
Sister has Master degree in Geo economics, Married, currently lives in London.
What was the story you could have a scolarship in the USA?
I visited USA 2 times prior coming to College. First time 2003 Minnesota, for the SGI Tournament, Second time 2004 played Summer league BIG TIME tournament in L.A, and Las Vegas. Signed Letter of intent and scholarship for UCLA, but later not committed there. Followed Coach Ernie Zeigler to Central Michigan University.
What was the life at the uni like?
Practice: never practiced harder in my life.
Fun: just like in any College movie :))))) !!!!!!
What was specific in the American practises in comparison with the Hungarian ones?
The biggest difference is that in US you have to take care of school and practices at the same time. Sometimes that is very challenging. For example every pre season we have lifting at 4;45 in the morning so we could go to our 9am classes. Physical shape is of most importance, because of the tempo of the game. So you have to be really strong and be able to run at the same time. Accent is put little more on physical condition of the player and less on their skill and basketball abilities. There is no excuses expectable for anything, Punishment for braking "the team rules" were drastic. As soon as you sing scholarship, Coaches own you and your body.
Why have you chosen Kaposvár for your next season?
I heard it is a very good environment for a basketball player which is the most important thing for me. From the information that I gathered felt like I can help this team to achieve goal for this season, which is entering the Playoffs'.
What is your experience in Kaposvár? In the city and with the team... What is strange perhaps, what you have not experienced yet?
So far I liked everything about this town. Its much smaller than the city where I grew up, Belgrade but every town has his own. We are still in faze of getting to know each other, bust my opinion is that we have really healthy environment, starting from coaching staff and the whole team as well. I didn't experienced the social life here in Kaposvar and Hungary in general. Because of the pre season workouts it was unprofessional to do so, but that time will come im sure.
